Editorial in Utility Magazine - February 2024
It's exciting to think it's been almost a year since the collaboration with Utility Magazine gave us an editorial in the Water Operations and Treatment section titled: Helping Councils Navigate New Waters in Regulation.
This article described how filter media analysis (such as sand, anthracite and activated carbon) can be used to optimise rapid gravity media filter performance. By ensuring the filter media is clean, water authorities not only improve treated water quality but also reduce operational costs associated with regular backwashing (power and water) and potentially reduce capital costs associated with media replacement.
